As the first ACF national president with a military background, he brings extensive experience in military culinary leadership and international competition, with a strong focus on advancing certification standards, chef education, and professional collaboration.<\/p><p>Born in Lewiston, Maine, he is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, New York. During his service in the U.S. Army, he led the U.S. Army Culinary Arts Team to multiple gold and silver medals at international competitions such as the Culinary Olympics and the World Culinary Cup.<\/p><p>He has served as a judge in numerous culinary competitions and as a certification evaluator.
